A certified Defected classic, ‘Bad Habit’ by ATFC featuring Lisa Millett is remixed by Clüb De Combat. Originally released in 2000, the track became one of the label’s signature tracks, leading to a slew of re-releases and remixes, most notably from Armin Van Buuren in the same year. Joining the list of remixers is a duo apparently marked as ones to watch in 2025; Clüb De Combat’s sound has earned them a slew of supporters, including artists such as Solomun, Peggy Gou, Chloe Caillet, Chris Lake, and Mau P.
Clüb De Combat: “‘Bad Habit’ is our take on that raw ’90s house energy - when all it took was a groove, some stabs, and the right attitude to blow up a dancefloor. We weren’t around back then, but something about that vibe just hit us - raw, fun, and totally unapologetic.
“When we got the chance to remix the classic by ATFC featuring Lisa Millett, we knew exactly where to take it. There’s something about that playful, no-frills spirit that feels missing today - so we brought it back with a rougher edge, modern drums, and the kind of drive that hits in today’s clubs.”
With two EPs under their belt and several releases on imprints, this remix aims to showcase the duo’s blend of hard-hitting electronic genres - making for another chapter in the record’s long-running story.
