DJ/producer duo Calussa, comprised of Cuban-American brothers Gino and Andrew Gomez, recently announced the launch of their brand-new label, NUSONIDO, debuting with the ‘White Tiger’ EP in collaboration with Ben Miller, which is out now. The label, meaning “new sound” in a blend of English and Spanish, represents a new direction for the duo, evolving from their previous label, Hurry Up Slowly.

The new label is rooted in a more mature sonic identity focused on house, tech house, and Latin-inspired grooves, reflecting their Miami heritage and global influences.
Gino: “This is the perfect time to start something new. We’re playing a different kind of music in our sets, and we’re inspired by a fresh sound that didn’t quite fit with the identity of our old label. NuSondido gives us a clean slate.”
Andrew: “Hurry Up Slowly became more of one thing - Afro house - while this new label gives us space to explore multiple genres through a house lens.”
The EP establishes the tone for this new chapter. In partnership with Australian producer Ben Miller, who is part of Chris Lake’s creative circle, this two-track project showcases their rhythmic energy and a more polished and versatile quality.
‘The Power’ emanates tribal vibes, while ‘White Tiger’ offers a bouncier, funkier feel.
Andrew: “These tracks show the side of us we want people to hear more of. They bring in that early-2000s house vibe but feel current and club-ready.”
The ‘White Tiger’ EP by Calussa & Ben Miller is available now on all major platforms via NUSONIDO.
