Chris Liebing returns to his CLR label this month with the ‘Phantom Rider’ EP, already supported by Daniel Avery, GiGi FM, Jon Hester, and more. The first track, ‘Kaizen’, doesn’t hold back with pounding drums, dub chords, and a snare-laden groove all play a part in this peak-time offering.
‘Wailer’ completes the package, continuing with more rough and raw rhythm and wonky, unfiltered 303 lines, a follow-up to his version of Emmanuel Top’s acid techno track, ‘Turkish Bazar’, which closed out CLR’s 2024 and has stayed at the top of the Beatport Techno charts throughout 2025.
Founded by Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.
