Last year, Ben Evers launched this label with three releases and also dropped more of his grooves on Live At Robert Johnson. That work helped mark him out as a solo artist with plenty to say as he continues working as one-half of the underground duo Adana T wins. His sounds aim to cross the house spectrum and have also appeared on the likes of Permanent Vacation and Correspondant.

The new single 'FM Never Hurts' is a house track with a hint of old-school rawness and dusty breakbeats in the breakdown. Rapped vocals ride over the electronic drums with trance-tinged melodies up top. It's a cut that is packed with bounce and sound designs.
German remixer Maruwa is a genre-fluid DJ and producer who plays across multiple different styles. Her releases have appeared on labels like Steel City Dance Discs and X-Kalay, and she is apparently a favourite at clubs like Panorama Bar and is a resident at Robert Johnson club. Her remix brings synth colours and trance-infused pads. The drums are bumpy, and the whole track is alive with melodic energy and feel-good pads.
Ben Evers's 'FM Never Hurts' it out via Eternal Sunshine on 31 January.
