Junior Sanchez returns to D4 D4NCE alongside Mike Dean with ‘Weekend Vibes’ featuring Lee Wilson, his next single from his upcoming LP. A US producer, remixer and label executive, he first landed on the label in March 2024 with ‘So Hype’, featuring Grammy award-winning songstress Mýa.
The collaboration set the tone for Sanchez’s future output on the label, with various names uniting to create house music, as he has done throughout his career, from co-founding Da Mongoloids collective with the likes of Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, A-Trak, Basement Jaxx and Armand Van Helden to recently launching his Freqazoids project with UK producer Dance System.
Sanchez is joined on the track by Mike, a record producer who has worked with artists including The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Drake, Lana Del Rey and Madonna.
The track shows the two producers at work, with new vocalist and songwriter Lee adding a throwback feel to the modern track.
