‘Diddums’ sees UK duo Dense & Pika debut on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD imprint this month. Much like their output for Hotflush Recordings, Hypercolour, Trick and their own Kneaded Pains, the track is one that aims to bridge house and techno.
Starting their partnership in 2011, Alex Jones (Hypercolour/Minder) and Chris Spero (Glimpse/mOat), aka Dense & Pika, have continued to be part of electronic music landscape. They’ve had remixes for X-Press 2, Paul Woolford, Leftfield, Maya Jane Coles and a slew of original releases, a touring diary featuring Berghain, Fabric, Gashouder, Trouw and DJ support from the likes of Scuba, Chris Liebing, Skream, Dubfire and more.
Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD aims to raise the bar after releases from Ida Engberg, in collaboration with Moudaber herself, and Carlo Lio, which have gained gsupport from artists like Adam Beyer, Charlotte De Witte and Alan Fitzpatrick.
Dense & Pika ‘Diddums’ lands on MOOD 31 May.
