Wolfram & Josh Ludlow’s Defected club hit ‘YoYo Disco’ receives a remix from Purple Disco Machine. The original received support from artists including Parisian Chloe Caillet on BBC Radio 1, Majestic on KISS FM, the Keinemusik crew and now Purple Disco Machine.
The German producer of all things house, deep funk and disco is a Grammy award-winning remixer, adding his touch to tracks from A-listers like Elton John and Kylie Minogue to Fatboy Slim and Gorillaz to mention a few.
His sound is probably recognised thanks to his presence at clubs as well as multi-platinum streaming and radio tracks like ‘Hypnotized’ and ‘Fireworks’ from his 2021 albums ‘Exotica’.
The remix sees the original collaboration disco-fied with string hits, synth runs and a vocoder section adding a retro feel over its chunky, rolling bass.
‘YoYo Disco (Purple Disco Machine Remix)’ is released via Defected Records today.
