Berlin-based producer and live act Nils Hoffmann recently unveiled his forthcoming album 'Running In A Dream,' following the release of the lead single 'Closer.' Moulded by German electronic music culture and his own classical training, music has apparently always been a part of Nils’ life. Embarking on his musical journey at the age of 16, he gained a wealth of experience to draw upon.

To date, the 27-year-old producer has amassed over 120 million streams on his music catalogue and performed at venues including Printworks London, the Brooklyn Mirage and The Gorge Amphitheatre.

Nils’ forthcoming album follows the release of his sophomore album, ‘A Radiant Sign’, which launched on Anjunadeep last year. The album amassed 24 million streams to date and gained radio support from platforms including BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Chill and KCRW. It reached the top spot on iTunes Dance charts upon release and garnered support from artists including Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn and Eelke Kleijn. He embarked on an extensive live tour to support the album across three continents at over 40 shows.

Since the release of 'A Radiant Sign,' he has continued to showcase his talent with the release of his two-track EP 'Phenomena,' which has already garnered over two million streams.

Additionally, he has delivered remixes for artists such as Emmit Fenn, Yotto and Booka Shade, as well as rounding off a summer run performing at festivals including Tomorrowland and Echelon Festival.

The album boasts an array of collaborations, including Australian singer-songwriter Vancouver Sleep Clinic, Swedish producer Kasbo, British singer-songwriter Rae Morris, Brisbane-based producer and vocalist The Kite String Tangle, and Australian musician Dustin Tebbutt.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as RÜFÜS DU SOL, Ólafur Arnalds and Stephan Bodzin, Nils showcases his melodic house production throughout the album. From synth leads to vocals, the compositions of the album aims to be a testament to the talents of the producer.

In tandem with the album release, he is embarking on a live tour spanning North America and Europe, with performances in cities including London, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto, as well as appearing at select Anjunadeep label showcases, including Anjunadeep Open Air: Bali.

Nils Hoffmann: “I‘m very happy to present this new record to everyone after working on it over the last few months. The album was inspired by my world travels and, of course, my home in Berlin. This is a very personal project to me and is a culmination of so many beautiful experiences I've had over the past year. I‘ve spent most of my downtime on tour to finish it, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it at home and at my shows.”

'Running In A Dream' lands on 9 February on Anjunadeep.
