Following three outings on Chris Liebing’s CLR imprint, DEAS returns to the label with the ‘Fear’ EP. For this release, the Greece-born Polish artist demonstrates the use of tension in his music, with the title track building in energy through rolling bass and rhythm, counterbalanced by the sudden, imposing strikes of a string instrument.
The industrial ‘Are You Sure’ continues, featuring dub hits and kickdrums, before the slicing synths in ‘Dice’ echo throughout its arrangement.
Last in line, ‘Koma’ then closes out this techno offering from the Planet Rhythm, Arts, and ara artist, growing in intensity via distorted grooves marked by tripped-out claps and his use of melodies.
