Kollektiv Turmstrasse has marked the imminent arrival of his new ‘Unity Of Opposites’ album with a brand new single ‘Night Wire’, the first single to be taken from the album, giving people a taste of what is still to come.
One of the album’s dancefloor-focused tracks, the track is a stripped-back production that flourishes in its innate simplicity, blending a synth melody with percussion and FX details.
For his album, Turmstrasse refuses to be limited by one style, taking you on a genre-hopping adventure, drawing inspiration from breakbeat to hip-hop, all the way to indie-dance with an array of vocals. It’s not a club album made for the dancefloor but one for those who want to experience Turmstrasse's world in a whole new light.
Apparently one of the most successful German live acts in electronic music, he is also known by his real name Nico Plagemann. As an artist who is focused on the liberated space between breakbeat, driving house tracks and anthems for the dancefloor, he is equipped with a discography and the album marks his first album since ‘Rebellion Der Träumer’.
Kollektiv Turmstrasse ‘Night Wire’ is out now on Not Sorry Music. ‘Unity of Opposites’ is out 10 November.
