Chicago native and house music artist Ron Carroll makes his Nu Groove debut with a two-track EP titled ‘House Of Love’. A part of the scene since the early-90s, often regarded as the golden era of house, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Louie Vega, CeCe Peniston and Hardsoul to name a few.
Now he makes his debut on NYC label Nu Groove, releasing a two- track EP that aims to demonstrate a keen ability to create hard-hitting club music.
The lead, ‘Mysteries’, aims to answer the question “Where does house come from?” as it name-drops fellow icons, while ‘Dreams’ is more forceful, asserting that “This is OUR house”.
Both tracks feature Carroll’s vocals, their messages ringing clear and true over the Chicago-club-ready sound.
It’s out 22 September.
