Apparently deeply rooted in the club culture of their hometown for over a decade, Manchester’s Mason Collective’s have risen from local promoters to perform internationally as they demonstrate their talent.
Following their two-track EP for sister label DFTD ‘A Little Affection’, the trio now debut on Defected with ‘People In Love’ with fellow Mancunian singer-songwriter Bipolar Sunshine.
Regularly played in Ibiza this summer for the likes of Paradise, The Martinez Brothers’ residency at Hï and Defected’s own weekly parties, the track may emerge as a late entry for potential record of the season with its chugging bassline and synth-work making a club-ready backdrop for Bipolar Sunshine’s ethereal vocal.
