The Circa ‘99 label is back with another house curveball, this time from Frenchman Naux, who began as a drummer in jazz groups at a young age and has since gone on to become a solo producer who has signed music to labels all over the world. His sound is influenced by the French touch scene and comes with plenty of characterful samples.
He recently started a new live house duo Frr Fonk and brings his skills here with his latest outing. 'Eleve 8' is the sort of house track that never seems to stop rising. The synths circle ever higher, the bass props them up and vocal sounds are smeared into the mix to bring the soul.
The production is warm and full of colour that makes it suitable for parties.
