Next up for Ellum Audio is a new remix from Alinka of 'Addicted,' a track from Madben's recent ‘Troisième Sens’ LP. French techno’s Madben aimed to take things to the next level with his latest album, a multi-genre work that although aimed at the dancefloor also follows an intriguing narrative arc. It comes after many years of working the underground and releasing on the likes of Laurent Garnier's Scan X’s label.
Ukraine-born but Berlin-based remixer Alinka crafts hard-hitting sounds for the likes of Rekids and Live at Robert Johnson. She does so with a penchant for weirdness and influences from Chicago and Detroit while DJing at clubs Berghain/Panorama Bar, Circoloco and Smart Bar.
Here she flips 'Addicted' into a pulsating and sweaty house track. The elastic bass and snapping hits are run through with synth stabs, spraying acid and a loopy vocal bringing extra sleaze up top.
The release also features the original single for those who missed it first time around.
