DEAS drops his 'Elements' EP on his BAU MUZIK imprint, consisting of four techno cuts. The rolling drums of ‘Praxis’ open things up for the release as the track builds the energy with filtering stabs and echoing highs, before the sounds of ‘Black Form’ ricochet off his grooves and techno bleeps.
Title track ‘Elements’ then enters with distorted synths weaving through layers of subtle percussion, before ‘Prefix’ closes out the antics with spongy toms and sequences arpeggiating over a dosage of rhythm.
Fresh off the back of releases on Planet Rhythm, A R T S and three EPs on Chris Liebing’s CLR, DEAS kickstarts his 2023 with these tracks on wax via his imprint.
His music is apparently a staple in the record bags of touring artists like Richie Hawtin, Marcel Dettmann and Rodhad, and the Poland-based artist has a busy gigging schedule of his own, regularly performing across Europe, Asia, and South America.
DEAS ‘Elements EP’ drops on BAU MUZIK on 5 May.
