Since debuting in January, Scuba’s ‘Not A Diving Podcast’ has apparently been building a loyal following as a weekly long-form listen. The podcast documents music history and gives an insight into the psychology of artists and what motivates them to create, while diving into all the juicy topics of the day.
Guests so far have included Tiga, Steffi, MJ Cole, A Guy Called Gerald, Cassy, Dave Clarke, Anja Schneider, Patrice Bäumel and DJ Spoony. Other highlights have come from industry guests Chris Goss (Hospital Records), Rich McGinnis (The Warehouse Project), Ibiza promoter Mark Broadbent (We Love Space), Aphex Twin agent Ned Beckett, promoter Nicole Cacciavillano, plus publicist Melissa Taylor.
Now Scuba aka Paul Rose takes his podcast on the road for a live recording at ADE where he’ll be interviewing Bpitch founder Ellen Allien in front of a live audience. The session will take place on Wednesday 19 October at the ADE Lab at De Brakke Grond (Steegzaal) from 3.15–4.15pm. The live recording will be available to listen to soon after recording.
