South Africa based artist FKA Mash and songstress Sio collaborate to form a sonic narrative with a joint debut on Sondela ‘Bumblebee’. With FKA’s production creating a percussion padded, melodic path for Sio’s vocal to float along, snaking deep Afro grooves aim to give the track a dreamlike quality.
FKA Mash has garnered support from the likes of Black Coffee, Atjazz and Vinny Da Vinci, and performed on various stages and venues in South Africa, from Deep Town Jozi and Deep In The City, to We House Sundays and Rocking The Daisies.
Meanwhile, Sio has continued to build her catalogue by collaborating with the likes of Kid Fonque and Fred Everything, weaving between genres.
