The Remedy Project continues to attract vocal talent, delivering ‘I Need You’ from singer songwriter Liv East and production duo KOLIDESCOPES – aka Johnny Courtidis and Dan Dare. Following one of her biggest releases to date on Glitterbox Recordings ‘You’re My’ alongside Sticks and Stonez, the East London artist moulds her music according to her mood of the moment as she genre hops, defying categorisation.
Coupled with the success of the award-winning electronic duo KOLIDESCOPES who have recently collaborated with the likes of Charli XCX, MNEK, Chris Malinchak and Sonny Fodera to name a few, the destination of Liv East’s upward trajectory cannot be determined quite yet, but it could be good.
Liv East: “Working with The Remedy feels like the perfect fit for where I’m at. Sonically I like to weave between soul, dance and R&B - so it’s exactly in keeping with the eclectic sounds Melvo likes to champion. We are all very excited about releasing this track and working together again after Melvo did the A&R on ‘You’re My’ on Glitterbox Recordings.”
KOLIDESCOPES: “We’re so excited to finally get this track out, we wrote the song in Dan’s kitchen three years ago. We loved Liv’s voice so sat with it for a long time until Melvo heard it and he heard the potential - so we got excited again and finished it.”
