UK duo Versus return to Repopulate Mars this month with their latest single, ‘Squid Game’. Versus, aka Dave Skehan and Scott Walker, have aimed to make a mark within the scene this year releasing material via SOLA, Solotoko, and Realm, while featuring in the sets of Jax Jones, Solardo and Tough Love.
Following their contribution to Repopulate Mars’ ‘Repopulate Stars’ compilation in 2018, the pair make their return with this track. ‘Squid Game’ is powered by a topical vocal, with modulations surging to peak-time dancefloor energy.
Sinewy effects, rattling percussion and samples combine for a groove that aims to become a favourite for many in the coming months.
