Coming off the back of his debut album ‘Untold Business’ at the end of June, Mark Knight has apparently fully embraced the return of live music. With a list of tour dates stretching up until the end of the year, he has decided to bring his soulful house sound even deeper into the club world with this remix of ‘You Saw Me’, featuring UK Garage artist Damon Trueitt.
Putting a fresh spin on the record, the Dutch DJ/producer DJ GUZ delivers his remix. GUZ comes off the back of a Beatport #1 with ‘Set You Free’, over 1m monthly Spotify listeners and a collab with David Guetta aka Jack Back.
He brings Mark’s vision straight into the club, reworking the original into a heavier production. A change of pace for sure, he strips back the instrumentation from the original, opting for a deep pulsing bassline that has given the record a new edge.
Damon Trueitt’s vocals have also been treated to give them a more electronic feel whilst he adds a string section tying the whole remix together.
