Casper Cole returns to Blaufield Music with his four-track ‘Shelter’ EP. With releases and remixes already via the likes of FFRR, Eleatics, Balance Music, and Blaufield Music, the London-based DJ/producer possibly sits within the ‘artists to watch’ bracket. His list of supporters already includes names such as BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Nicole Moudaber and Joris Voorn.
Having last appeared on the label last summer, title cut ‘Shelter’ glides through serene soundscapes and warping, evolving synths – all guided by the vocals of singer-songwriter Eda Eren.
Up next, ‘Remedy’ journeys through pockets of bright, vivid sounds above effervescent basslines, before meeting the club-driven sonics of ‘Rising Tide’.
To close, Cole again wanders down a pathway of leads and drums to welcome a final production to tie up the EP.
