Neapolitan DJ/producer Molino arrives on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with his ‘Prince’ two-tracker this month. Having previously appeared on Deeplomatic, Noexcuse Records, Be One Records and more, the Visionary Grooves founder steps up for his first release on the label, turning in two house tracks.
Lead cut ‘Prince’ twists classic disco grooves into a swinging house jam, with percussion and funky drum rolls swirling atop a rubbery bassline. ‘Numbers’ takes a deeper turn, bringing shimmering delays, pounding low-end, and robotic vocal slices together for a late-night curveball.
