Liverpudlian DJ/producer Eldon racks up a release for Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two label. The ‘Booty Shaker’ EP is Eldon’s debut for the label and comes backed with a remix from DJ Deeon. He’s already had releases for Solardo’s Sola label and has records in the pipeline for Patrick Topping’s Trick and Steve Lawler’s Viva imprint.
Title track ‘Booty Shaker’ aims to do what it says on the tin. A slice of jackin’ Chi-town house, its drums pound hard and raw, with a vocal hook to boot. In a nod to its inspirational roots, DJ Deeon, the originator of the sound, and producer behind countless Dance Mania tracks, strips things back further, stretching out his rework to over eight-minutes.
‘Blow’ maintains the energy levels with another jacker laced with choppy vocal refrains and twisted synth sirens, whilst ‘Show That’ closes the release with another slab of four to the floor house.
