Camelphat

Camelphat recently announced their return to the city this summer for their biggest homecoming show to date, taking over Liverpool’s Pier Head on Friday 17 September. The Liverpool duo who have been working together for nearly two decades are possibly one of the few acts to have successfully straddled the mainstream and the underground.

Following the release of their Grammy and Ivor Novello nominated track ‘Cola’ in 2017 they have continued with a touring schedule, dropping club tracks including ‘Panic Room’, ‘Breathe’, ‘Rabbit Hole’ featuring Jem Cooke and ‘Not Over Yet’ featuring Noel Gallagher.

These have been taken from their debut album ‘Dark Matter’ and it’s this commitment that has garnered them a fanbase and seen them credited as Beatport’s biggest selling artist of all time amongst other accolades.

The all-day festival which forms part of a long weekend of entertainment ‘On the Waterfront’, will apparently be the city’s biggest event in over year. And as passionate Liverpudlians, there are few better locations to perform than Liverpool’s Pier Head with the Liver Building and the River Mersey as the backdrop.
