John Summit drops his first release of 2021 with ‘Beauty Sleep’, landing this month on Repopulate Mars. Summit’s return to Lee Foss’ imprint sees the Chicago native bringing more of his heavy-hitting house to the table with a track that sees twinkling synths swirl around vocal hooks, as chunky drums tumble through a series of crescendos and breakdowns throughout.
Possibly one of the biggest breakthrough names in house in 2020, John continues a run of form that includes multiple Beatport Top 10s, including the year’s longest-running Beatport #1 (‘Deep End’ on Defected), as well as ongoing support from Pete Tong, Mistajam, and many more.
Despite a big 2020, with ‘Beauty Sleep’ he has no plans to rest on his laurels in 2021.
