Booka Shade enlist Ben Böhmer and Kaktus Einarsson to remix ‘Perfect In A Way’ on now on Blaufield Music. Following on from the release of their single ‘Perfect In A Way’ in late-April, and fresh from the reveal of their ninth studio album ‘Dear Future Self’, the duo now invite the Anjunadeep artist and Ton Töpefrei head honcho Ben to the label for the very first time to remix the original, with vocalist Einarsson also contributing his own take on the production.
Up first, Ben delivers a gently driven and eclectic remix, fuelled by synths, arpeggiated melodies and loose drums which combine to reveal an elevating dancefloor track, before vocalist Kaktus Einarsson re-imagines the track and journeys down a more hypnotic path, guided by guitar riffs, chords and bass licks to round out proceedings.
