With recent releases ‘Drama’, ‘Real Thing’ and ‘Too Many Lies’ under his belt already in 2019, New Zealand producer La Felix continues his ascendency with his latest release, ‘Give Me Your Love’. As it ushers in a slight change of pace, the track takes listeners on a sonic journey full of ambiance and tranquillity that aims to evoke a visual imagery of summer nights.
La Felix: “This track is probably the most emotional one I’ve written so far. It’s overly simple and very repetitive but works on a very slow build of elements and harmonics. Because of the change in style, I got to explore ideas I hadn’t been able to access before since I was so restricted in my own genre and style.”
‘Give Me Your Love’ builds from subtle beginnings of guitars and tight percussion creating a groove from the word go, whereby he lures you in with the lowered repeated vocals before its climactic wall of sound.
