Glitterbox

As Glitterbox’s 21st century disco continues to evolve in 2018, the performers, DJs and crowd will bring the brand to clubs across Europe for the very first time. After kicking off the tour at Church in Leeds on Saturday 3rd March with a sold out show with Purple Disco Machine, Melvo Baptiste and Dames Brown (live PA), the tour will also hit Zürich, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Manchester, We Are FSTVL, Bristol and Croatia (Defected Croatia festival). Meanwhile, in June, Glitterbox returns to Hï Ibiza for an 18-date season.

The second stop on the tour, another sold out date at Ministry of Sound this weekend, sees Glitterbox resident Dimitri From Paris headlining, alongside Horse Meat Disco, Luke Solomon, Melvo Baptiste, Savage, Simon Dunmore and Dames Brown (live PA).

Dimitri From Paris moves on the following week to Kaufleuten in Zürich with Aston Martinez and Simon Dunmore, who returns to the club after a debut in late 2017. The party then continues on to Panama in Amsterdam, bringing Joey Negro, Simon Dunmore and the voice of Glitterbox radio, Melvo Baptiste to the venue for the first party in the city.

The second Ministry of Sound party of 2018 will bring Purple Disco Machine back to the London club for the first time in almost two years, joined by a debut from The 2 Bears plus The Shapeshifters, Simon Dunmore, Melvo Baptiste, Sophie Lloyd, Jeremy Newall and Teni Tinks (live PA).

Further shows include Café D’Anvers in Antwerp, and the Marble Factory in Bristol, the line-ups for which will be announced soon.

As always, the nights will be enhanced by performances from the Glitterbox dancers, including some familiar faces who’ve graced the covers of recent Glitterbox albums.

Raven Mandella, the face of latest album ‘Glitterbox – Love Injection’ will appear in Leeds, London, Manchester and Switzerland, and Lucy Fizz, who was the poster girl for ‘Love Is The Message’, will be the resident party-starter across dates in Ibiza and selected dates throughout the tour.
