This week marked the onset of a unique month-long collaboration between Serato, Ninja Tune and the New York based artist/producer and serial collaborator Nick Hook across music, art and film.
The next instalment in the "Serato Pressings" series (following on from The Gaslamp Killer with his Break Stuff project) Hook's Collage v.1 EP finds him in out-and-out club mode, delivering a bunch of dancefloor tracks backed by a cast of guests. Artists including hip-hop/electro artist Egyptian Lover; producer Todd Edwards; and synth artist Bernie "Dr. Woo" Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic, Talking Heads) rub up alongside fresh NY talent: rappers Bodega Bamz, Kilo Kish and Crystal Caines; Jersey Club cohorts Nadus and DJ Sliink; LuckyMe's DJ Paypal; and Cmat.
Nick Hook's Collage v.1 Serato pressing will be available 16 December via the Serato Online Store and at selected retailers. An extended edition of the EP will also be available digitally.
