After a few weeks revealing their plans, the full season outlook at Sankeys was recently confirmed. Welcoming back some residents from last year as well as inviting new acts and labels to do their thing each week, the 2014 programme covers many bases from house to tech, to crossover dance and underground house and techno.
VIVa and Flying Circus parties return, whilst new is chart topping producer Duke Dumont with his Monday Blasé Boys Club residency, as well as Tribal Sessions. Completing the schedule is Magna Carta, who are big on the London scene, Fuse, the London club brand and label that holds Sunday parties in the capital but will host each Tuesday at Sankeys Ibiza, and finally you’ll be able to get to know the CUFF sound, the label run by Amine Edge & DANCE.

Duke Dumont is to play eight exclusive shows on Mondays under the title DUKE DUMONT presents BLASE BOYS CLUB, as well as also playing the Sankeys’ opening party Part 2 on May 22 alongside a line up of Steve Lawler, Hot Since 82, Amine Edge & Dance, Finnebassen, Andrea Oliva.

Manchester's Tribal Sessions is one of the longest running club nights in the UK at 14 years old is the very soul and spirit of Sankeys. Featuring heavily at each party will be residents Darius Syrossian, Greg Vickers, Shlomi Aber, Just Be, Sidney Charles, Hector Couto and Jozef K.

Steve Lawler’s VIVa Warriors is a brand that has been part of the underground scene for years. As well as being a label releasing cutting edge tech house from artists like Detlef, Darius Syrossian, Leon, Sante and many others, it hosts showcase parties everywhere from WMC to BPM. Last year the VIVA residency at Sankeys was the club’s most successful night, leading boss man Steve Lawler to be named King of the Basement. In 2014 expect Steve Lawler, Detlef, Anek, Zoohki & Roozlee, Marina Karamarko (Burn residency) and Randall M to bring the heat on a regular basis.

Amine Edge & DANCE’s house – both in their own productions and on their label - is raw, attitude ridden music with nods to hip-hop and plenty of rapped vocals – it is a new French sound, basically, that could be set to take the whole island by storm. As such expect a bling party with bold beats and plenty of cool cat characters that sees the two boss man play every week, as well as a selection of big guests including STUFF, Sion, Shiba San, Sirus Hood, Clouded Judgment, Ennio, K-Lagane,Clyde P and The Beatangers.

In the words of Audiofly themselves: “We are really happy to announce our return to Sankeys again for another season of Flying Circus on the island. The first year on the island is always a bit of a trial for a new party but we comfortably 'sailed through' and we're coming back this year with some amazing residencies from our closest friends, the best sound on the island and some new surprise guests for you all to get into.”

After hosting two sell-out shows last summer, London’s Magna Carta have been given the chance to take over weekly Saturdays from last year’s Carnival. Based in London but tripping out to Ibiza for the summer, Magna Carta are known for bringing fresh artists to cool and random spaces with likes of Nick Curly, Marc Antona and Matthias Tanzmann in the past so expect more of the same from them at Sankeys each week this summer. It is reported that artists like Samu.L, East End Dubs and Jordan Peak will be spearheading the Ibiza residency at Sankeys.

Enzo Siragusa’s underground house & techno sound is at the heart of London’s Fuse party at 93 Feet East. In less than two years Fuse has amassed a loyal following of ravers young and old, as it has fast become a popular night for London clubbers.
