Last Sunday saw We Love... open their doors for the first time this season with Carl Craig, James Zabiela, Henrik Schwarz LIVE, Joy Orbison vs Ben UFO, Midland Vs Paul Woolford and Bicep the main players throughout the night, which also saw a top performance by Krafty Kutz and A Skills for the 2013 debut of After Dark.
This coming weekend welcomes the Lawrence brothers better known as Disclosure who will be showcasing their full live audio-visual experience. Having risen to fame in 2012 with their remix of Jessie Ware’s ‘Running’ and their breakthrough EP ‘The Face’, this witnessed their Aluna George collaboration 'White Noise' hit No. 2 in the UK charts. Joris Voorn, Derrick May, Tensnake live, Groove Armada DJ set, Dave Clarke, Skudge live, Âme DJ set, Agoria, Dusky and Dense & Pika live are all further top guests for this month.
After the success of last year’s post-midnight sessions on the Sunset Terrace, After Dark returns every Sunday for the duration of the 2013 summer season. Hosted by long-term We Love… resident DJ Mr Doris, After Dark boasts a line-up of DJs, artists, audiovisual shows, B-Boys, MCs and live experiences that is probably unique to the rest of the club and to the rest of the island.
"We bring in acts that encompass afro beat and hip hop to reggae, Latin and D&B such as Coldcut, Krafty Kuts, The Correspondents, DJ Yoda & Norman Jay. Thankfully the We Love team are always open musically & have such a wide spectrum of sounds represented already so the After Dark concept fits in very nicely." Mr Doris
