Of late, their association with national festival brands like Stereosonic (Australia’s biggest festival) and Summadayze (Australia’s biggest New Year’s Day festival) has seen their profile skyrocket even further. Now, they are set to toast a decade in the dance music industry with a 3CD collection (the first release on the recently launched Darkbeat Recordings) which traverses the entire spectrum of underground dance music, mixed by three of its stars: Anthony Pappa, Phil K and Rollin Connection.
A favourite of Australian, as well as international audiences, Anthony Pappa is one of Australia’s most accomplished DJs. Revered as a pioneer of the Australian dance music scene, Phil K is the gifted Darkbeat resident and Darkbeat founder Daniel Banko AKA Rollin Connection is responsible for nurturing the Darkbeat brand into the brand that it is today. His DJ skills have seen him invited to play all over the world and this is Rollin Connection’s first mix compilation.
