After the success of their third Birthday Warehouse Party, Face has decided to throw another one. This time on December 29th at the Rainbow Warehouse, it is to be headlined by Martinez Brothers, Laura Jones, Mosca and Dusky who between them will play all across the warehouse and garden. The Martinez Brothers are two of the youngest and most exciting DJ and production talents in the game – having worked with the likes of Dennis Ferrer and his Objektivity label, Jerome Sydenham and his legendary Ibadan as well as having done studio collaborations with the likes of Argy, Chris and Steve Jnr.
Their sound is groovy house and tech, with hits like ‘isss’, ‘My Rendition’ and more on their CV. Joining them will be DC:10 regular, Leftroom and Visionquest producer, Laura Jones, with her heartfelt, emotive and melodic house sound. Also playing is London boy Mosca, his productions for Hypercolour, 3024 and Nigh Slugs all join the dots between myriad urban genres with plenty of swing in the drums. Last but not least is Dusky, who have so far released a vintage brand of garage-bolstered house on Arunja Beats and Will Saul’s Simple. Upcoming Face events include Rob James on November 10th, Annie Mac Presents with Huxley and Boddika on November 12th, wAFF on December 8th and looking ahead to next year, their own party at Snowbombing 2013.
