Will Taylor is a UK based artist who has worked hard at making a name for himself over the last 12 years, releasing on labels such as SOLA, Elrow, South of Saturn and VIVa Limited. As a DJ he has played events like We Are FSTVL, Tobacco Dock and Motion Bristol.
Now he’s stepping out with his own label, FREAK, which will be home to his own work and this first release, ‘BANG BANG’ as well as releases from established and upcoming artists he respects.
The track’s bobbing bassline is restless and robust, the kicks are compelling and the hi hats are sharp. These house grooves are embellished with some warm and soulful vocal stabs to add extra fire. It’s a bold start for the label and the track is out now.
