Cocoon returns with its latest mix compilation, the 10th and final instalment in their annual in-house series from Chris Tietjen. Titled ‘Zehn’, the mix cd finds former intern turned Sven Vath protégé Chris take to the helm to represent the Cocoon sound once again. What makes this chapter interesting is that it’s a retrospective selection from the past decade with Tietjen picking 36 tracks from the label’s catalogue organising it into one 80-minute mix.

Glassnote Records recently announced that Robert Delong’s new single, ‘Long Way Down’, has been remixed by Sean Glass. The Sean Glass Remix premiered 21 March on KCRW as the kick off to Jason Bentley’s Metropolis radio show, and received its online premiere on Billboard on Monday. It will be up for sale on 31 March 31, along with a full EP featuring more remixes. The original EP, a follow­ up to his debut record, ‘Just Movement’, is currently available digitally everywhere.

Brighton Music Conference (BMC) recently announced its 2015 Academy programme, alongside the latest additions to its Professional schedule, and further tech and artist showcases across the event’s two days of master classes, panels and talks on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June at the Brighton Dome. The ninth edition of Field Day will be held at Victoria Park, in the heart of East London on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2015 and the festival recently revealed the new line up additions that will be joining the likes of Caribou, FKA Twigs, Django Django , Run The Jewels, Hudson Mohawke, Chet Faker and Nina Kraviz on the Field Day Saturday 6 June bill.

Lewis Fautzi returns to Soma Records in LP format once again with ‘Space Exploration’, which is out now. The album is a special collection of tracks created by Fautzi that focus on the more experimental side of techno. Never one to allow himself to get caught up in one style, Fautzi set the challenge of creating an album with more depth and insight into his creative process, basing the focus on bringing more of his emotion to the music.
