Awakenings

Monumental Productions recently announced that Awakenings will expand during the forthcoming edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (from 19-23 October 2016). For the first time there will be five nights of Awakenings in the Gashouder, on the Westergasfabriek premises in Amsterdam. Nervo’s latest release ‘Did We Forget’ features vocals from fellow Australian Amba Shepherd and the breakup ballad serves up emotional lyrics and tribal-inspired breakdowns topped off by big-room synth progressions. It comes with an official music video that personifies the lyrics, directed by Jaakko Manninen and is shot in 360° x 180° virtual reality format.

Following Cream’s sell out shows at Liverpool Cathedral back in April which saw the dance brand collaborate with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for a erformance of dance classics, the brand recently announced its return as they bring Cream Classics to London on Saturday 10 September, taking over the O2 Academy Brixton.

With an Ibiza pre-opening already under their belt and brand new New York, Croatia, Italy and Beirut parties freshly lined up for 2016, HYTE are ready to showcase their own brand of deep and energetic techno every Wednesday at Amnesia, Ibiza. From 29 June they will be in place for 15 weeks throughout the entire summer, closing out the season on 6 October.

After its inaugural event last year, Ultra Music is expanding its presence in Singapore in September to a two-day festival experience. The upgraded event includes Phase One headliners Afrojack, Axwell^Ingrosso, deadmau5, Kygo, DJ Snake and Nero Live, and will form the third major ULTRA festival in Asia alongside ULTRA Korea, which wrapped its fifth year this month, and the upcoming third edition of ULTRA Japan, also in September.
Defected In The House Croatia

In August Defected will host its first full festival at the Garden Resort in Tisno on the Adriatic coast. The festival is set to bring five days of pure house hedonism to this spot with a line-up of artists and DJs, featuring underground artists together with bigger-named DJs for a week of music.
