Belfast-based duo, Symmetrik have just released their label debut on Dreamstate Records, their Euro-infused single ‘Bounce To The Rhythm’. Blending modern techniques with classic influences, it’s a fusion that begins with retro-packaged piano chords, which build into staccato vocal harmonies and thudding kicks. 

The track hops between a breakbeat breakdown, pitched-up vocal chops, and a lead oozing with nostalgia. The result is a track that showcases their production skills.

Symmetrik: “This track started as an emotional instrumental, which you can hear in the piano melodies at the beginning. We wanted to blend that emotion with our high-energy style, layering in euphoric synths, a thumping kick, and driving bass. The vocal sample, ‘bounce to the riddim,’ tied everything

together—and even gave the track its name. It’s an absolute weapon on the dancefloor, and we’re buzzing to see it get an official release!”

Symmetrik fashion a sound that spans trance, hard techno, techno and house. They have released music with Shugz, Jazzy, and Lushington, in addition to official remixes for artists including D.O.D and Joel Corry. 

They have upcoming tour dates lined up at Zouk (Singapore and Tokyo), Creamfields, Rong Festival, Trance In The Woods, Luminosity, Lost Minds Festival, and a sold-out headline show at SWG3 (Glasgow).
