Tel Aviv-based DJ/producer Juan Yarin arrives on Guy Gerber’s Rumors with ‘Venice Beach EP’ this month. Resident DJ at Tel Aviv’s Monochrome events Juan has previously released on Spain’s Ride Music with a pair of EPs. Here though, he delivers three originals, possibly producing some of his most accomplished works to date for his first appearance on the label.
Title track ‘Venice Beach’ leads the release with drums, synths, and vocals swirling together. ‘View In Jaffa’ follows, utilising percussion, pads, and a bassline to craft a track that aims for eyes-closed moments on the dancefloor.
‘Fighting Crime’ ups the tempo, bringing a sharper sound palette to the table through arpeggios and drum machines, topped with FX to bring the EP to a close.
