Paul Oakenfold is joining forces with New Order and Pet Shop Boys on The Unity Tour, now rescheduled to autumn 2022. With the addition of two new shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, the North American trek will kick off on 17 September, 2022 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, making stops in Philadelphia, Manhattan, Chicago, and Los Angeles before closing out on 16 October at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.
Over the years, Oakenfold has probably proven himself to be an influential force in dance music, possibly helping shape the dance music scene itself. Additionally, his imprint Perfecto Records has been one of the longest-running dance record labels, responsible for many dance track from various artists.
He has also entered mainstream works, producing soundtracks and cues for Hollywood movies - including Swordfish, Collateral, The Bourne Identity, Matrix Reloaded, and Shrek 2. His portfolio has given him opportunities to open for artists like Madonna and U2, as well as to perform at unique locations such as Base Camp Mount Everest, Stonehenge, The Great Wall of China, and Area 51.
