Illyus & Barrientos have taken a fresh spin on Sonny Fodera and King Henry’s latest track, ‘Before U’ featuring AlunaGeorge. The track has apparently amassed over three million streams, plays from DJs and multiple spins on BBC’s Radio 1 since its release just over a month ago.
Illyus & Barrientos have teamed up for a reworked uptempo version of the track, applying warping basslines and arpeggio production, as the duo flip the original into a heavier house cut.
Hailing from Glasgow, the two have cemented themselves within the scene. With releases on DFTD, Suara, Toolroom and Exploited Records, they have reworked various house tunes as well as their own originals. Having performed at Hi Ibiza, Ministry of Sound, XOYO, Sub Club and more, the two are hoping to propel themselves to the top of the realm in years to come.
