ilan Bluestone’s ’Scars’ debut artist album was released in April 2018 and demonstrated ilan’s love for all aspects of electronic music. From ‘Will We Remain?’, ‘Let Me Know’ and ‘Frozen Ground’, to the reflective moments of ‘Guru’ and ‘Eclipse’, the record took an ecliptic path through the sounds of trance, house and ambient.
ilan brought the ‘Scars’ tour to 65 locations across four continents including EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields U.K. and Above & Beyond’s ABGT300 celebrations in Hong Kong.
The closing chapter to ilan’s golden year, ‘Scars’ (Remixed) puts his songs in the hands of some of his musical contemporaries.
Debuted at ABGT300 Hong Kong, Germany’s Cosmic Gate flip ilan’s ‘Frozen Ground’ feat. Giuseppe De Luca. Serbia’s Vintage & Morelli lends a ‘90s house twist to another De Luca record, ‘I Believe’. There are also reworks from Dutchman Rafaël Frost, Russian progressive artist PROFF, Spencer Brown, KOVEN and ilan’s musical partner in crime, Maor Levi, who contributes three mixes to the album. Rounding things off is a live studio rework from Shadowlark, the band fronted by ‘Rival’ lead singer Ellen Smith.
