Creamfields last week revealed the first headline act for their 20 year celebrations in 2017, bringing together two key artists from the electronic scene for an exclusive live show - deadmau5 and Eric Prydz. Having performed at Creamfields many times as solo artists this will be the first time both acts perform live together in the UK and may be set to be one of the most anticipated performances of the year. They join forces to headline the Steel Yard Arena on Friday 25 August and will be their only European show of 2017.
A huge line up is expected for the festivals 20 year celebrations, with the full release of acts due to be announced in February. The award winning electronic music festival returns to Cheshire, UK for four days kicking off the August Bank holiday weekend early from Thursday 24th through to Sunday 27th.
Creamfields was recently voted ‘Best Major Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards, beating off heavyweight competition from the likes of Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Isle Of White Festival. Having scooped the award for ‘Best Dance Event’ a record eight times, this is the first time an electronic music festival has been awarded the ‘Best Major’ trophy.
