Spanning 200 releases over the past decade, Coldharbour Recordings story undertakes a new chapter beginning in 2015 by joining the family at Black Hole distribution. The label, founded by Markus Schulz, has released tracks on various genres from its label roster. Along with being the home of the Miami native's singles (the latest being ‘Winter Kills Me’ featuring Lady V), artists such as KhoMha, Nifra, Grube & Hovsepian, Fisherman & Hawkins, M.I.K.E. Push, and Mr. Pit continue to feature in the playlists of many DJs.
Black Hole Recordings, already housing Markus' New World Punx Music label alongside Ferry Corsten, is well known in the dance music community. Their strategy and efforts should further increase Coldharbour’s continued development, with more label event nights already on the horizon.
The partnership begins this month, and among the first releases is ‘Skypunch’ by Dutch duo Fisherman & Hawkins. This will be complimented with EPs from Danilo Ercole and Solid Stone, and the centrepiece of the label will focus on Markus' project spanning the entire year - dedicating a new production every month to a particular city of inspiration.
