The new MK vocal edit of Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ will be released later this year on Ministry of Sound/Defected. ‘Look Right Through’ first surfaced on Defected in 2012, and MK’s Dub III quickly became an underground hit via Beatport and many DJ supporters.
To date, MK’s Dub III has had over two million combined views, hit the Top 10 Shazam pre-release chart and so far received repeat plays from Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Danny Howard, MistaJam and many more, with support from 1Xtra, Kiss, Capital and Juice (ROTW).
The video has just been released for the single, including an exclusive Shazam competition. The prize is one year of Ministry of Sound compilations and a Defected Records goody bag. To enter, users must tag the track with their Shazam app, click through to the competition page via the link provided, and enter their details. The competition closes on Saturday, November 2, with the winner announced the following Wednesday (November 6).
The track is the work of Storm Queen aka American DJ/producer, Morgan Geist and former ‘subway singer’, Damon C Scott. Geist is also known as one half of US house duo, Metro Area. MK aka Marc Kinchen has returned to the forefront of dance music this past year, 20 years after his era defining hit with the Nightcrawlers. It’s out 3 November.
