Just two months after ending ‘One Last Tour’ with Swedish House Mafia at Ultra Music Festival back in March, Axwell returns to the fray with the release of his first original production since ‘Heart Is King’ [Axtone] in April 2011 and hits with Swedish House Mafia such as ‘Don’t You Worry Child’. Entitled ‘Center Of The Universe’, this release is Axwell’s ‘Remode’ of the unreleased original mix, first debuted by the Swede at Stereosonic Festival back in 2009.
Premiered by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show earlier this month, this brand new edit has been gathering good feedback from fans, industry and the online space ever since. Crowned Pete’s ‘Essential New Tune’ just a week after the premiere, and off the back of this entered the Cool Cuts chart at No 4, the record has now gone on to rack-up over 360,000 unique Soundcloud and YouTube plays combined, and has received support from fellow DJs and national radio stations across the planet. After less than three weeks of waiting since its first play, it’s now released on Axwell’s very own imprint, Axtone Records. The original version is now also being used as the official track for Carlsberg’s ‘Where Is The Party’ campaign.
