In 2008 Patrick Buck and Frederic Berger started their career as Kaiserdisco and made it into one of the most interesting acts in the global underground scene. The duo are not only a techno or minimal act, Kaiserdisco is fascinating people all over the world as they produce music from lazy deep house to groovy techno, always with an ear for the dancefloor. In the last few years they’ve remixed artists like Booka Shade, Kosheen, Extrawelt, Sebastien Légér, 2000 & One, and had releases on labels like Drumcode, 100% Pure, Strictly Rhythm, My Best Friend and Global Underground.
Beside their future plans and already signed releases on Drumcode and My Best Friend in February and April 2012 the boys decided to start their own imprint KD Music. The first release ‘La Familia EP’ was released in December 2011. Both Frederic and Patrick are from Hamburg, are in their mid-30s and have had single careers of their own for more than 10 years - both started to play musical instruments at school and also started their DJ careers then. After several years pursuing their musical careers they met up and discovered that they had a great deal in common and then started to work together. Kaiserdisco signed to MBF two years ago and have since then accumulated half a dozen top chart positions on Beatport and international fame. With many releases and much success since, Kaiserdisco have been gigging in clubs and festivals around the world. Now Patrick Buck will be touring Australia with dates below:
