Shogun Audio presents the first single to be taken from the eagerly awaited debut album from production powerhouse, Spectrasoul. Teaming up with Mercury Music Prize nominee Terri Walker they deliver a great introduction to what may be one of the most exciting electronic music albums of 2012. Spectrasoul (Jack & Dave) had this to say: “Nearly a year has passed since our last solo single on Shogun Audio. It’s this brief hiatus that has given us the chance to reflect on our past, consider our future, and to construct, develop and write our debut album. These first two offerings represent polar-opposite extremities of style. As anyone who has ever listened to our music knows, we strive to produce a wide variety of forward thinking, experimental yet accessible bass driven music — something that we think this release exemplifies. Incorporating the excellent vocal talents of both Terri Walker and Fox (characters from two very different music origins), we feel that this release encapsulates all that we are about, giving listeners a small taster of what to expect from our forthcoming album.
