Broken Hands

Broken Hands

Broken Hands were formed by long time buddies and occasional cohorts Dale, Jamie, Tom and Callum, all just out of their teens with a big ambition and now with a growing fan base too. It was only a matter of weeks since hitting those first lavish chords in a school hut in Canterbury that Broken Hands were running round Europe playing large venues opening for Band of Skulls, and this, the perfect start-up adventure, was coupled with a few of their own dates in London and then some 300 strong crowds witnessing hometown gigs in Kent.

2011 also saw the band release their first very limited edition 7” single, ‘Brother’, on Edwyn Collins’ new Label AED, with Edwyn doing production honours. Now, Band of Skulls have asked them back to do 15 UK dates climaxing at Roundhouse on tomorrow night and they then headline their own London show on the 22nd March at the new Servants Jazz Quarters in Dalston. To accompany the dates they release a single ‘Sorrow’ on download March 25th followed by another single in May around their own tour dates. Head over to their Facebook page for a free download of another track called 'Wept'.
