Freestylers have had a very successful 2011 and the next year is panning out to be even more of a success. Aston and Matt Freestylers have played their Dex and FX show in every continent to over 100K fans, old and new, and have graced the festival stages of Glastonbury, Boardmasters, Jelly, Frequency (Austria), Solfest, and Summer Break (Romania) to name just a handful. The award-winning duo was also hand picked as part of the entertainment for when the NFL hosted events in Trafalgar Square and Wembley.
Freestylers musical output has been just as successful with their single ‘Cracks’ hitting nearly 10.5 Million hits on YouTube and over 100K worldwide sales, it was used on the hit US TV show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ by the eventual winner, Melanie Moore, and so far, features on three video games and two films. With the huge success of the single, two major record labels are fighting over who can sign and rerelease the worldwide hit. The London based producers record, ‘Frozen’, featuring Joshua Steele has been licensed to ‘Canada’s Got Talent’ and their current hit ‘Over You’ was snapped up by Black Hole across Europe and Central Station in Australia.
2012 will see Freestylers still try and dominate the dance music world with a plethora of musical treats; February will see the new Double A-Side bass assault ‘Mount Zion’ and ‘Sunblast’, on which the duo take on Wizard in a Vs battle and in March, Freestylers release a new compilation on Central Station/Universal. This will all come in between writing the hugely anticipated fifth artist album. Check ‘Cracks’ below and get a free download from the guys here:
