Hannah Wants

Hannah Wants recently announced a new concept - PLAY - a dark, raw and authentic tour, which aims to project her artistic progression and prospective musical vision. Maintaining her bass house roots but exhibiting her developing style, the night will be diverse with some surprise elements along the way. Apparently there will be ‘evolved production, electrifying stand-out visuals contrasted with a grungy and intense atmosphere’. A selection of new and established DJs have been chosen by Hannah to showcase their skills alongside her across the tour, promising to unveil new talent as well as highlight credible artists.

Following a life-changing trip to Ibiza in 2010, Hannah worked hard to build a solid fan base through her energy-filled sets, journey-like mixtapes and forays into production. The success of ‘Rhymes’ saw her shoot to the top of the electronic music scene, and in 2014 she was crowned both DJ Mag and Mixmag’s ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ as well as Mixmag’s ‘Star of the Year’.

Hannah has kept up her bi-monthly mixtapes – and in 2015 was given the opportunity to build on this with an Essential Mix for Radio One, as well as a contribution to the Residency series. That year saw the beginning of her own headline series of events, ‘What Hannah Wants’ – the party was a apparently a sell-out success, clubs and stages including Ibiza Rocks, Amnesia, Lovebox and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project.

2016 also saw Hannah cement her status as a producer – this year alone she released solo singles ‘Just’, ‘Hidden Love’ and the collaboration with Katy B ‘Honey’.
